Malé, Maldives – Maldives Police Service is searching for three individuals wanted for questioning in connection with ongoing scam investigations led by the Anti-Scam Centre.
The suspects have been identified as 38-year-old Fahdh Mohamed, 36-year-old Nadheef Mohamed, and 30-year-old Mahmood Abdulla. Police say they have been unable to locate the individuals or deliver court summons, despite repeated efforts.
According to police, the trio is being sought as part of active investigations into fraudulent activities, though it remains unclear whether the suspects are deliberately evading authorities. The police have not released details of the specific cases connected to the individuals but noted that they are key to the inquiry.
In response to a surge in financial scams in recent years, Maldives Police Service established the Anti-Scam Centre to address the growing number of fraud complaints and protect the public from digital and financial exploitation.
Police have urged anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward, as efforts continue to bring them in for questioning.
