A mesmerising drone display lit up the night sky, drawing large crowds who gathered to witness the visual spectacle marking the transition into the new year. The celebration also showcased performances by various traditional music bands, highlighting Maldivian cultural heritage and adding to the festive atmosphere.

As the clock struck midnight at 00:00 hrs, fireworks illuminated the area, officially welcoming 2026 amid cheers and applause from attendees.
