Former President and Maldives Parliament Speaker, Mohamed Nasheed discharged from hospital in Germany where he was seeking treatment for the fatal injuries sustained in 6th May terror attack in Male' City.

Nasheed's family confirmed his discharge, but declined to comment on his return date to Maldives. Nasheed was transferred to Germany on 10th May, four days after the explosion near his residence which left him critically injured.

Maldives Police have arrested 4 people in connection with the blast, and has confirmed that that the attack was an assignation attempt by religious extremists.
