In a show of athleticism and perseverance, Mohamed Nahyan Khan has been crowned Mr. Maldives 2024 in a championship event organized by the Bodybuilding Association of Maldives. Held to celebrate and recognize the strength and commitment of local athletes, the competition featured a total of 30 bodybuilders representing various teams, including the Maldives National Defence Force, Maldives Police, Extreme Gym, Gymnasia, and Forge.
Nahyan, who has persistently competed over the years, finally claimed the top title this year, securing a cash prize of MVR 50,000 along with a trophy. He emerged as the champion after an intense contest with runner-up Shaheen Ibrahim, marking a significant achievement in his career.
Other honors were awarded to exceptional athletes in distinct categories. Abdulla Ahsan won the title of Mr. Athletic Physique, while Azneen Rashad was once again crowned Mr. Sports Physique, making this his fifth consecutive win in this category.
The event not only highlighted individual achievements but also emphasized the growing prominence of bodybuilding in the Maldives, reflecting the dedication and hard work of athletes across the nation.
