The visit is part of his administration’s goal to visit all islands at least twice during his tenure.

In AA. Thoddoo, the President discussed challenges in healthcare, education, and economic initiatives with the council. He pledged to address these issues and announced a road development project. Acknowledging budget limitations in 2024 due to the previous administration, he assured residents that pledges would be fulfilled in 2025 and 2026 under the newly approved budget.

In AA. Rasdhoo, discussions centered on coastal protection, housing needs, and support for the fishing industry. The council commended the government's housing initiatives, and the President assured them of support for economic activities.

At AA. Mathiveri, President Muizzu promised to start constructing an airport next year, highlighting its importance for connectivity and economic growth.

The President emphasized his administration’s focus on infrastructure development and social stability, rejecting past practices of releasing prisoners for political gain and prioritizing rehabilitation instead.

Accompanied by Cabinet Ministers, he provided updates on ongoing projects, reflecting the administration’s commitment to fulfilling pledges and ensuring development tailored to each island's needs.
