Mumbai police have released CCTV footage of an intruder who stabbed Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan during a burglary attempt at his home early Thursday morning. The suspect, described as a man in his mid-30s, entered Khan's residence in an upscale neighborhood after midnight, leading to a confrontation with the actor.

Khan sustained serious injuries, including a deep wound to his spinal cord caused by a lodged knife. Doctors at Lilavati Hospital performed surgery to remove the knife, repair spinal fluid leakage, and treat other injuries on his hand and neck. Khan is now recovering and out of danger.

The police have formed teams to track down the attacker, urging the public to provide any information. They believe the attack was a case of "attempted burglary" but are investigating further.

Khan’s wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their children were home at the time but remained unharmed. The family has not commented, while Khan’s team requested privacy and patience from fans and the media.

Saif Ali Khan, known for films like Dil Chahta Hai and Omkara, is one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actors. The incident has sparked widespread concern across the film industry and among fans.
