Police Arrest Three Thai Nationals and a Maldivian in Malé Salon Raid

The Maldives Police Service has arrested four individuals following a raid on Peace Salon and Spa in Malé City. According to police, the arrests were made on suspicion of involvement in prostitution.
Those taken into custody include three Thai women and one Maldivian man. They have been identified as Mohamed Samaam Rasheed, 28; Junpen Kumbonpitak, 38; Patcharidha Bannabodi, 24; and Supavadi Jomtaraku, 45.
Police said the raid was conducted based on intelligence indicating that prostitution was being carried out inside the establishment, with foreign women being used for such activities.
The Criminal Court has ordered all four suspects to be remanded in custody as the investigation continues.
