At just 21 years old, Ajmal Ali, better known as Aju, is winning the hearts of music lovers across the Maldives through his singing videos on social media.

Hailing from Gaafu Alifu Dhaandhoo, Aju says his musical journey began with the encouragement of his brother. He first started singing Hindi songs before expanding to Dhivehi and English, all of which he enjoys performing.

His performances have attracted thousands of views and widespread support online, inspiring him to continue pursuing his passion for music.

Although he once dreamed of becoming a pilot, Aju says his aspirations have evolved. While he hopes to build a successful career in another professional field in the future, his greatest ambition is to become a well-known singer and one day earn the opportunity to perform as a playback singer.
