Malé, Maldives – Allied Takaful, the Islamic Window of Allied Insurance, has been awarded the GIFA Excellence Award (Takaful) 2025 at the prestigious Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) held on 11 September 2025.

The recognition celebrates Allied Takaful’s strong commitment to Shari’a compliance, social responsibility, and its role in providing reliable and ethical Takaful solutions across the Maldives.

Manager Fathimath Nizma accepted the award on behalf of Allied Takaful, symbolising the company’s continued dedication to advancing Islamic finance and setting industry benchmarks for excellence.

The ceremony, which brought together global leaders in Islamic finance, was attended by Malaysia’s Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Anwar bin Ibrahim and the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, adding further prestige to the occasion.
