The Maldives has secured three medals at the 16th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Championship currently underway in Bhutan, with Azneen Rashad winning his fourth South Asian title.

Azneen claimed the gold medal in the Men's Athletic Physique (up to 167 cm) category, successfully defending his regional title and becoming a four-time South Asian champion.

The Maldives also secured two silver medals through Ahmed Naeem and Ali Mabrook. Ahmed finished second in the Men's Athletic Physique (up to 170 cm) category, while Ali claimed silver in the Men's Athletic Physique (up to 175 cm) category.

The three-medal haul marks another strong performance by the Maldivian team at the regional championship, which has brought together leading bodybuilding and physique athletes from across South Asia.

The latest achievements continue the Maldives' success in regional bodybuilding, with its athletes once again reaching the podium at one of South Asia's premier physique competitions.
