Maldives Health Protection Authority, HPA reports 4th COVID-19 death in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 120.

HPA said a 57 year old Maldivian female admitted at Hulhumale' Medical Facility (HMF) has died. The other 3 deaths include, 56 year old Male admitted at HMF, 80 year old female admitted at HMF, 77 year old Male admitted at HMF, and 93 year old female admitted at HMF.

With the current surge in cases, Maldives has implemented further restrictions in the Capital city. These restrictions include 4pm to 4am curfew in Capital Region and closure of all government and private offices in the area.

More than 2,000 new cases have been reported in the last 24hrs.
