Bangladeshi Caretaker arrested for assaulting an elderly COVID patient at Hulhumale' Medical Facility.

Maldives Police arrested the family appointed caretaker after he was caught on video beating patient at COVID-19 facility. After the video went viral on social media, government spokesperson Mabrook Azeez tweeted saying the Police is looking into the matter and that the medical facility is attending the patient.

"Police is attending to a reported case of abuse against a patient by the family appointed caretaker at HMF. The bystander has been removed and the family has been informed." Mabrook tweeted.

Numerous complaints have been filed against services provided at Hulhumale Medical Facility.
