Former Maldivian Foreign Minister and President of the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Abdulla Shahid, recently met with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres to discuss his ongoing work with the International Communities Organisation (ICO). Shahid, who currently serves as the International Ambassador for the London-based international NGO, briefed Guterres on his efforts to support diplomacy, mediate disputes, and promote sustainable peace in conflict-affected regions.
